GPM was founded by David Hooper in 2014 to release his first-ever film, The Anatomy of a Great Deception (AGD1). To his complete surprise, the movie became an international hit, after gaining the approval of respected organizations, such as Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth (ae911truth.org), and Hollywood icons Ed Asner and Omar Sharif, to name but a few of its high-profile supporters.

Through September 2019, GenPop Media's main focus is on the production, promotion, and release of the sequel to The Anatomy of a Great Deception, currently titled, “AGD2.”

With AGD2, Hooper hopes to tap into a proactive, highly passionate, and fast-growing cross section of Americans turning away from mainstream media to alternative sources. AGD2 connects events unfolding in the daily headlines to the 9/11 attacks and far beyond, while Hooper continues sharing his personal story of coping as his eyes opened.

Hooper hopes a large number of this growing cross-section of Americans participate in the crowd campaign for AGD2, launched on Indiegogo in October 2018. “There’s not much money in promoting truth these days,” joked Hooper to a packed house at the Northern California Truth Alliance film festival in September 2018. The world premiere of AGD2 is set for September 2019.
